Bill Gates message to Rotarians
Bill Gates message to Rotarians in New Orleans 24th May 2011 -only 1% to go!
We are now entering the last two months of the current Rotary annual calendar. I have had a very enjoyable time serving the Club as its President and have many happy memories of the Club’s activities over the last 11 months. On the 1st July I shall be handing over my chain of office to the new President of our Club, David Mole.
We have just completed one of the busiest times of the year. Our Focus on the Crocus campaign accumulated £4500 towards the End Polio campaign and details of activities can see by clicking on the purple crocus on this page.
We held a charity golf day earlier this month at Bletchingley Golf Club and as a result we will be donating £2000 towards St Catherine’s Hospice and £2000 to our own charity funds for use within the community of Caterham & Warlingham.
In June the Club will be taking part in the Caterham Festival and will be active at The Caterham The Street Party, De Fest at de Stafford school and the Caterham Carnival. We welcome you to come and visit us at all these events.
Best wishes
Mike Smith
President
